#EnglishMalaysia#: Satay Kitchen

Satay is a seasoned meat skewered with stick usually made from coconut frond. This meat is grilled on charcoal stove. Here in Malaysia, in the state of Kelantan, there is a village called Baung, where majority of the inhabitants make Satay.

Let take a peek at one of the house making Satay





Here they are roasting peanut, main component of gravy serve alongside the Satay







Over here they are boiling 'nasi himpit', literally mean 'compressed rice. To make it, they put rice into plastic bag, sealed it than boiled it.
