Tup-tap dah tahun 3 dekat UNiTEN. 2 sem lagi, kamon!. Hari ni bermulalah sesi practical. Benda pertama yang aku perasan, uih, aku overdress ni. Kemeja dgn necktie bagai. Engineer pakai kemeja lengan pendek tak tuck in pun. Ni aku dah macam bos dah. Actually, bos pun kalah. Die pakai t-shirt je. Lebih-lebih pulak adham ni! Tapi first impression penting kan? Sambil tulis ni bos datang. Ngee!

Woah bro ****, take a chill pill.

First of all, why a retired politician need to keep quiet? Is there law requirement for this? I thought freedom of speech mean everyone can speak his mind without fear of persecution and prosecution. It is up to him whether he one to meddle or not. Everybody wants to meddle in every affair. The difference is whether they actually able to do or not. You asking 'when he wants to retire'. Could it be when you in position of power 'when he wants to retire' become 'one more word and your a$$ will be in prison' ?

Secondly, what with the "Mamak kutty" thingy? Judging from you pic profile, and the fact that you calling him mamak, aren't you and this "mamak kutty" is from the same Indian subcontinent? (Correct me if i'm wrong) Malays who dislike him emphasize his mamak lineage, trying to sling mud at him. You aping these Malay make me chuckle.
Btw, this mamak becomes dictator in Malaysia for 22 year, bringing corruption and destruction people say. I say, well so much for Malay supremacy, the Perkasa people talk c*ck only, mamak have become dictators in their land, pissing on their head.

About giving citizenship, the first link you posted, the writer wrote:

Well if the mamak told it is according to requirement then whats the problem? All we need to do is to check whether giving citizenship is according to the law of that time. File a police report, sue him or whatever. Just screaming this mamak kutty is corrupt regarding this matter is only mud slinging.

Bring proof that what he have done regarding giving citizenship is wrong according to law, and we deport these people back to their native countries.

Owh actually comment regarding to your post, my mind have veered away. That is not proof, that is allegation. The writer didn't point which section of the law the guy broke. By just saying the goverment giving citizenship in secret does not cut it. That just " you said he said"

i think that proof, not allegation.. using Tunku as an example is just leaving a bad aftertaste..

Memudahkan orang

Pernah terfikir tak dah berapa ribu kali kita isi borang? Dari sekolah sampai masuk uni sampai la ke alam pekerjaan. Isi borang lah kerjanya. Dalam borang tu mesti minta 3 benda, nama, IC dengan alamat. Tak rasa meluatke bila orang tanya benda yang sama berulang kali? Cuba pergi jumpa lecturer tanya dia satu soalan. Lepas 10 minit tanya lagi soalan yang sama. Lepas tu ubah soalan sikit, tapi maksud sama macam 2 soalan pertama, pergi tanya sekali lagi.

Bila kita nak isi borang UPU (permohonan masuk ke ipta), kita kena isi nombor IC, nama ibu kita. Takkan dekat JPN (jabatan pendaftaran negara) xde maklumat ni? Nak buat IC mesti kena ada surat beranak, yang sememangya mesti ada nama ibu dan bapa. Kenapa tak link antara jabatan2 kerajaan maklumat ni. Let say bila pegi LHDN utk buka file cukai pendapatan, isi IC je, terus otomatik maklumat pribadi yang tersimpan dalam sistem JPN dieksport ke dalam sistem LHDN


Tak payah nak membazir kertas isi borang maklumat peribadi, tak payah nak upah ramai penjawat awam, xde masalah berhadapan dengan kerani kounter dengan muka "jangan ganggu saya".
Of course, untuk mengelak privacy issues dan indentity theft, bukan semua kakitangan awam boleh asses maklumat orang ramai. Certain people je. Buat sistem log in supaya sesiapa yang cuba asses maklumat ni akan di tag. Just my two cent


Nak mengampu tapi tak mampu

Aku: boleh jugak. nak dada (bahagian dada, jangan fikir bukan2)

Auntie: eh tak boleh, auntie nak bahagian tu.

Aku: ok.....

Nampak tak permainan auntie ni? Ingatkan saja2 nak tolong rupa-rupanya ada ayam dalam timbunan nasi

Kenapa banyak aku rasa banyak orang yang offer "fake courtesy" ni? Hairan betul. Nak something tapi tak berani nak cakap terus terang. Bajet mcm aku akan tolak permintaan pastu hina, bagi komen  ke ape. Tak pernah sama sekali. Kalau orang minta something dari aku, dan aku tak boleh bagi, aku cakap je tak boleh bagi dan sebab-sebabnya.

Takdenye bila orang nak tengok jalan kira assignment, aku cakap,"tak boleh, aku dah hantar. Rajin la sikit. Aku stay up nak buat benda alah ni." Sebab mana aku tahu sebab2 dia nak minta tengok assignment tu. Maybe  dia dah siap, cuma nak compare jawapan. Maybe dia betul2 terlupa nak buat. Aku cuma akan cakap," tak boleh, dah hantar"

Mungkinkah orang2 sebegini sebenarnya takut dengan bayang-bayang sendiri? Diorang tahu bila diorang berada di tempat aku, diorang akan bagi komen yang tak betul dan kurang enak didengar.

Processor, ram & graphic card

There is confusion among buyer when they looking for new pc. Typical question they will ask the salemen is..

1)Is it intel I3, I5, I7 or amd
2)Isn't amd pc can get overheated 

4)How much ram this thing have?

5)Can i play game with this pc?

The salesman will tell them this pc spec will blow their mind away, this pc have 50GB of GDDR10 RAM, this thing have AMD processor, great for playing games, he can play Need Speed : Speed Demon Fantasies Comes True without lag. And if the customer  choose to buy this pc, he will upgrade it to 60GB of RAM, just add RM100.

Wrong, wrong wrong. First of all the salesman will say just about anything to convince you to buy at his shop. He could say,"you should buy this pc because this particular pc is like a light, shining in darkness."

Or god forbid he say prophet told us to choose this pc. What the salesman didn't say that? Because its obviously false and will not work.

How to choose correct hardware for your gaming pc?. I found this awesome website, tweaksguide. It contain verrrrrrrry detail explanation of graphic process. But who can read 12 page of nothing but text really? So here its more simple explanation so you can continue play your games.

Process

1) when u click the game icon, the OS will find the game executable file and lauch it. 

Analogous to finding stuff in the main store house. What happen if the the storehouse worker is slow and lazy? It will take a long time to find the stuff you r looking for. This is why the faster the hard disk, the faster OS and game will load.

What happen if stuff/ boxes in storehouse is not place properly?, just toss it around. You'll have a hard time finding the right box. That why we need to defrag the hard disk

2) the game data is placed in RAM. RAM act as a temporary store house because it is much much faster than hard disk. From here, CPU will process the data. Before CPU  process the data, it will store it in  L1, L2 or L3 cache.

3)Now the CPU cannot process all the information. Graphic information will be passed to the graphic card.

Analogy: The CEO at the headquarter (CPU) make strategic plan of the company, but it is the worker and machine in factory (graphic card) that actually make the product.

4)Sometimes finished product is not ship directly to the retailer, it will be stored in factory store room. This is the graphic card RAM, or VRAM.  This is rough and not completely acurate analogy,for more info go to the tweak guide, frame buffer. To supply the showroom with constant flow of product, the factory will produced at greater rate than the actual product flow out rate (Double or Triple Buffer). To be able to do this,store room(VRAM) is need. When showroom (monitor) need to replenish, the product will always be available.

5) the finished product is sent to the showroom, where the product is displayed and sold.

Now can you see from the analogies, in order to have high performance gaming machine, u need matching hardware. What is the use of having huge store room (VRAM or RAM) if the factory cannot actually make the product.

Similarly the RAM only act as a temporary store room. Let say the OS required 2GB,  for optimum performance the game use another 2GB and all background process & program use total of 1 GB. So you need 5GB RAM. Adding more ram wouldn't improve you game performance at all.

It is just like building extra storehouse without actually improving the factory manufacturing capability. 

What happen if you have high perfomance graphic card, lots of RAM but slow processor? It will create a choke point, slowing down the overall pc perfomance. It like having state of the art factory, superb worker but of the  CEO company is incompetent, he tell the factory manager to make wrong adjustment.

Valva CEO: gentlemen, this latest wave of global recession has hit us hard. We have laid off thirty percent of our Truck and Buses division's workforce but still this is not enough to turn around the losing trend. Something drastic must be done.


SCANIO representative: Agreed, our bus sales is steadily decreasing. Is there any way we can turn araound and make profits?

MECK CEO: Yes, there is. (he take a puff from his 200 dollar cuban cigar). Gentlemen, have you heard the phrase, war is profitable so long it do not happen in your country?


TOTO representative: What are your trying to say?

MECK CEO: America recovered from its 1920s recession after world war 2. Why? because every idle factory is used to for the war effort. Suddenly there is no jobless person, why? because new factories was set up to make tanks, uniform, airplane, people joined the army. Now, how to increase our truck and buses sale? Easy, we try to manipulate people to buy more. Muslim is the suckers right now

MON CEO: How do you propose to do that?!

MECK CEO: Let me finish. We all knows there are 1 billion Muslim in this world. There is a huge market opportunities. How do we make them buy our buses eventhough they already have one? Simple, we incite protest. We wrote something about Islam, make videos, they will go apeshit. Look what happen to the Dutch.
They will burn their fellow countrymen buses, trucks and even car. Some of them will be trampled to death by their fellow rioter. I'm sure buses and truck sales will increase dramatically.

Jangan ganggu saya

Sedar tak sedar, semester 1 tahun ni, hampir sampai ke penghujungnya. Dua minggu lepas raya terus exam. Sem ni sem yang paling sibuk setakat ni. Dah la test takde selang, 2 test dalam sehari lepas tu ada pulak esoknya, project dan assignment, tambah lagi diri ni pun rasa macam slow je sem ni lepas 5 bulan bercuti.

Nak dibuat cerita, salah satu dari project assignment yang aku kene buat analisis berkomputer. So terpaksalah guna komputer di lab. Nak buat analisis dekat laptop sendiri, laptop cikai pulak, tak boleh la nak handle software tu. (Situasi ni akan diperbaiki tak lama lagi). So aku pun pergi lah ke fakulti walaupun kelas sebenarya start pukul 12.

So aku sampai di computer lab dalam pukul 7.50 something. Penjaga lab tak datang lagi. Ok, belum pukul 8 lagi. Tunggu punya tunggu dekat pukul 9, sampailah penjaga lab tu. Aku tak terus masuk lab tu, bagi dia masuk, duduk rileks dulu. Ye la penat berjalan dari parking pastu naik lift. Bagi la dia tarik nafas dulu. Sebab kerani, atau orang2 yang keje dekat customer service ni terdedah kepada sindrom "jangan ganggu saya"

Orang2 yang mengidap sindrom ni buatlah macam mana pun, mesti layan kita macam kita tak sepatutnya wujud disitu, menyusahkan dia.

Dialog aku dengar  lab technician tu

aku: Assalamualaikum, Encik, saya nak guna lab ni untuk buat projek. Apa yang saya perlu buat? Kene isi borang ke ape?

lab technician: Kenapa awak tak isi borang?! Saya nak tracked berapa orang yang guna lab ni! (muka poyo habis)

Dia bagi borang lepas tu sambung main komputer dia tu.

Dia punya renspon lansung tak masuk akal. Orang tanya mcm prosedur, dia tanya kita balik kenapa tak isi borang. Kalau kita dah isi borang tak payah la tanya dia

Dah tak tahu nak buat macam mana, dah bagi salam, muka dah senyum. Suara dah lembut dah Macam kombinasi, bagi salam tak bagi salam, guna abang guna encik, Takde effect.


Apakah yang menyebabkan golongan2 ni menghidap sindrom ni? Kenapa mereka poyo sangat? Adakah sebab

1)PMS
Tetapi sindrom "jangan ganggu saya" lelaki pun ada jugak. So pms bukanlah sebabnya

2)Sebab kerja
Bukan nak hina kerani, lab technician ke, customer service ke, tp kalau kita being honest here, mmg profession ni adalah profession yang tak glamor. Selain dari technician, peluang untuk naik lebih tinggi tu nipis. So maybe org2 ni jadi bosan, takde motivasi untuk melayan customer? Tapi tukang sapu sampah indonesia tak poyo pun. Kerja diorang lagi teruk. Lagi dead end job. Takde la pulak layan macam kita ni menyusahkan dia.



3)Bosan
Mungkin dia bosan kot? Tapi bila ada customer dia layan macam taknak layan je. Camno?

4)Tak cukup seks?!
Mungkinkah mereka2 semua ni meragam sebab tak cukup seks?  Kene buat survey ni.
